Transport of radioactive substances or objects is subject to national and international legislation. DFRC can handle or guide the transport in accordance with the transport regulations in place at the site and the associated precautions. We will also perform a final check of the right categorization and labelling or stickers on components and containers for transport.

When working with radioactivity, all kinds of residual products or waste may be created. In most cases, waste that is contaminated with radioactive material cannot be disposed of as regular waste. A special method of disposal and destination has to be arranged depending on its status, material, function and further desired use. If the material or object should preferably be reused, we can advise on possibilities for cleaning and revision.
